IMPACT
In 2002, Capital Software launched a new back-office system for Lloyds Reinsurance brokers called IMPACT (Insurance-Market-Policy-Accounts-Claims-Treaties). IMPACT has been developed in conjunction with leading Lloyds Reinsurance brokers. All modules are integrated with tracking systems for management control and MI reporting.
The product is compatible with the London Market Principles (LMP), which principles aim to modernize premium payments, risk placing, risk endorsements and claims processing in the London Market. IMPACT uses Microsoft desktop applications, such as Excel, Word and Outlook for all quote and slip production with the added benefit of single source of input. No re-keying of data is required. This enables Impact to provide complete, integrated document management facilities, updating risk, claim and accounting data directly from quote and slip document variables.
The Impact product is integrated with the Insurance Workplace platform to provide a seamless ‘straight-through’ processing capability from back-office to Underwriters for electronic trading of risks, endorsements and declarations.
